Coated, painted and printed panels
Bonzano is the sole producer of panels in Italy, and among a handful worldwide, to have an in-house coating line, with a daily production capacity of between 2,000 and 4,000 m2 per workshift.
The coating department is organised with different facilities equipped with the latest technology to offer a wide range of surface treatments and meet even the most demanding customer requests.
In Bonzano, we use UV acrylic, anti-yellowing coatings with a 100% dry residue and reduced VOC emissions.

UV painted panels
UV painting is a protective surface treatment which enhances the structure of the wood.
- Coating cycle: 3 coats of primer + 1 top coat
Type of primer: natural or shading effect. Different fade-resistant colours, based on mineral pigments, can be pre-applied to non-coated panels
Type of finish: scratch resistant (gloss: 20 ± 2) or silk effect (gloss: 20 ± 2)
UV laquered panels
UV lacquering is a surface coating treatment that creates a perfectly smooth and even surface.
Coating cycle: 4 coats of primer (150g /m2 in total) + 1 top coat
Type of primer: standard colours RAL 9010 and RAL 1013, upon request RAL or Made-to-measure colours
- Type of finish: scratch resistant (gloss: 20 ± 2) or silk effect (gloss: 20 ± 2)
Printed panels
The printing is done with a roller system using water-based inks. The panel is then finished with a UV acrylic top coat.
Coating cycles: printing + 1 top coat
Printing types: Oak, walnut, Tanganyika and cherry. Custom printing by customer request
Types of finish: Scratch resistant (gloss 20 ± 2) / Silk (gloss: 20 ± 2)
