Project Description
Poplar Plywood: A Versatile and Reliable Solution to fulfil your needs
If you’re looking for a high-quality panel that lends itself to a range of different applications, then the Bonzano poplar plywood is right for you.
The product is made entirely of cross-fibre sheets and is distinctly light compared to its dimensions, ensuring excellent hold for fastening elements and an unparalleled dimensional stability. The ease of cutting, the resistance to screw removal and the choice between longitudinal and transverse grain, moreover, make it perfect even in the most unusual and less conventional situations.
Do you already know which class to choose for your requirements? Bonzano offers four versions of its poplar plywood.
- Class I has a perfect surface for applications where it will be visible and is ideal for plating, varnishing and a satin finish. The surface is of the highest, uniform quality and any repairs are carried out with the utmost care and attention to detail.
- Class II has a natural surface in which minor knots, provided that they are well grouted, low contrast colours and slight adhesive stains are allowed.
- Class III is suitable for non-visible applications and can be grouted on request. Considerably more adhesive stains, grouting, knots and bark inclusions are allowed than for Category II.
- Class IV finally has a rougher surface intended for technical, packaging and other similar applications. All the natural features of wood are allowed in this plywood, such as knots and inclusions, as well as processing defects, provided that they do not diminish the functionality and usability of the panel (e.g. fungus or iron inclusions are not permissible).
